She was also considered one of the most important female figures in the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. Del Río is also remembered as one of the most beautiful faces on screen of all time.

Petit, Adolfo Stray and Nelida Roca. A victim of breast cancer, she died in Buenos Aires in 1998, and was buried in La Chacarita Cemetery.
