Simon John Pegg is an English actor, comedian, screenwriter, and producer. He came to public prominence in the UK as the co-creator of the Channel 4 sitcom Spaced, directed by Edgar Wright. He went on to co-write and star in the Three Flavours Cornetto film trilogy: Shaun of the Dead (2004), Hot Fuzz (2007), and The World's End (2013). He and Nick Frost wrote and starred in the sci-fi film Paul (2011).

Duncan Andrew Pegg was an Australian politician. He was the Labor member for Stretton in the Queensland Legislative Assembly from the 2015 election until his death in 2021. On 22 April 2021, Pegg announced he would be resigning within several weeks to undergo treatment for cancer. Pegg's death triggered a by-election for Stretton.

Vester Pegg was an American actor of the silent film era. He appeared in 140 films between 1912 and 1941, mainly Westerns. He was born in Appleton City, Missouri and died in Los Angeles, California.
