Krishan Kant Paul is a former Indian Police Service officer, who served as the Commissioner of Police, Delhi from February 2004 to July 2007. Following his retirement from the IPS, he served as the Governor of several states—Meghalaya (2013–15), Manipur (2014-15) and Uttarakhand (2015–18). He had also held the governorships of Mizoram and Nagaland briefly, as additional charges.

Brandon Stephan Paul is an American professional basketball player for the Adelaide 36ers of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). During his senior year at Warren Township High School, Paul was named Illinois Mr. Basketball for 2009. Paul played college basketball for the University of Illinois and became only the second player in program history to record 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists and 100 steals.
