Throughout her career, Mirza has established herself as by far the most successful Indian female tennis player ever and one of the highest-paid and most high-profile athletes in the country.

Hushang Mirza or Hoshang Mirza was a Mughal prince and grandson of the third Mughal emperor, Akbar. He was the youngest son of Daniyal Mirza and nephew of the fourth Mughal emperor, Jahangir.

Abbas Mirza was a Qajar crown prince of Iran. He developed a reputation as a military commander during the Russo-Persian War of 1804–1813 and the Russo-Persian War of 1826–1828, as well as through the Ottoman-Persian War of 1821–1823. He is furthermore noted as an early modernizer of Persia's armed forces and institutions, and for his death before his father, Fath Ali Shah. Sahibzada Iskander Ali Mirza, CIE, OSS, OBE, was a Pakistani general and civil servant who was the first President of Pakistan. He was elected in this capacity in 1956 until being dismissed by his appointed army commander General Ayub Khan in 1958.
