Simón José Antonio de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar y Palacios Ponte-Andrade y Blanco, generally known as Simón Bolívar and also colloquially as El Libertador, "the Liberator", was a Venezuelan military and political leader who led what are currently the countries of Venezuela, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Panama to independence from the Spanish Empire.

Gustavo Bolívar
Gustavo Bolívar Moreno is a Colombian author, screenwriter, journalist, and elected senator from 2018 to 2022. He published several books before the best-seller Sin Tetas No Hay Paraíso brought him international fame. There are three adaptations for television: a series produced by the Colombian company Caracol (2006), a version by RTI Colombia–Telemundo and a version by Spain's Telecinco. The novel also was adapted to a film directed by Bolívar himself.

María Bolívar
María Josefina Bolívar is a Venezuelan lawyer, businesswoman and politician. She was presidential candidate twice for the United Democratic Party for Peace and Freedom (PDUPL) in the presidential elections of 2012 and 2013. She also ran for the same party in the regional elections of 2012 and was candidate for the mayoralty of Maracaibo in the municipal elections of 2013. In 2015 she was nominated as candidate for the 4th circuit of Zulia State in the parliamentary elections, and in 2017 she stood as candidate for the Constituent National Assembly.
Ignacio Bolívar
Ignacio Bolívar y Urrutia was a Spanish naturalist and entomologist, and one of the founding fathers of Spanish entomology. He helped found the Real Sociedad Española de Historia Natural in 1871, and was the author of several books and of over 1000 species.
