He was a member of the 1993 Stanley Cup-winning Montreal Canadiens.

He is best known for the roles of Tommy Williams in The Shawshank Redemption, Billy Thomas in the television series Ally McBeal, and as CIA agent Matt Callan in the television series The Agency. Kieffer Bellows is an American professional ice hockey forward, currently playing as a prospect to the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted in the first round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by the Islanders. He is the son of former Canadian NHL All-Star Brian Bellows.
