Abu Ali Hasan ibn Ali Tusi, better known by his honorific title of Nizam al-Mulk was a Persian scholar and vizier of the Seljuk Empire. Rising from a lowly position, he was the de facto ruler of the empire for 20 years after the assassination of Alp Arslan in 1072, serving as the archetypal "good vizier" of Islamic history.

Taj al-Mulk Abu'l Ghana'em Marzban ibn Khosrow Firuz Shirazi, better simply known as Taj al-Mulk was a Seljuq courtier during the reigns of Malik-Shah I and his son Barkiyaruq.

Mu'ayyid al-Mulk was a Persian bureaucrat, who served as the vizier of the Seljuk sultan Berkyaruq from 1094 to 1095, and later vizier of the Sejluk prince Muhammad I Tapar from 1099 to 1101. He was the most energetic and gifted of the sons of Nizam al-Mulk, with whom he neared in capability.

Sitt al-Mulk, was a Fatimid princess. After the disappearance of her half-brother, the caliph al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah, in 1021, she was instrumental in securing the succession of her nephew Ali az-Zahir, and acted as the de facto ruler of the state until her death on 5 February 1023.
