Hanns Eckelkamp was a German film producer and founder of Atlas Filmverleih. He produced over 20 films between the 1960s and early 1990s, including three for director Rainer Werner Fassbinder − Satan's Brew, The Marriage of Maria Braun, and Lola. He also formed film distribution companies and a cinema chain.

Jon Ivar Christensen was a Norwegian jazz drummer. He was married to actress, minister, and theater director Ellen Horn, and was the father of singer and actress Emilie Stoesen Christensen.

Giorgi Shengelaia was a Georgian and Soviet film director. He directed 14 films since 1961. His film Pirosmani won the Grand Prize at the Chicago International Film Festival in 1974 and went on to international critical acclaim. His 1985 film The Journey of a Young Composer was entered into the 36th Berlin International Film Festival where he won the Silver Bear for Best Director.
