Hans Jura was an Austrian cinematographer, most famous for his collaborations with the erotic film director Radley Metzger.

Edward Carfagno was an art director who established himself in the 1950s with his Oscar-winning work on such films as Vincente Minnelli's The Bad and the Beautiful (1952), Joseph Mankiewicz's Julius Caesar (1953) and William Wyler's Ben-Hur (1959) . Carfagno went on to work consistently on a variety of films, including five collaborations with Clint Eastwood including Tightrope (1984) and Heartbreak Ridge (1987).

Shafi Inamdar was an Indian actor. He started his film career with the film Vijeta and continued it in Ardh Satya. He acted in a number of television serials including Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi. His most notable film roles include the inspector in Aaj Ki Awaz, the villain in Awam and the friend of the hero in films like Nazrana, Anokha Rishta, Amrit. Some of his other films are Kudrat Ka Kanoon, Jurm, Sadaa Suhagan and Love 86, all successful.

Loda Halama was a Polish dancer and actress. Principal dancer of Grand Theatre, Warsaw (1934–1936). She appeared in eleven films between 1927 and 1950.

Boris Alexandrovich Tchaikovsky, PAU, was a Soviet and Russian composer, born in Moscow, whose oeuvre includes orchestral works, chamber music and film music. He is considered as part of the second generation of Russian composers, following in the steps of Pyotr Tchaikovsky and especially Mussorgsky.

Wong Peng Soon, was an ethnic Chinese Malayan/Singaporean badminton player who reigned as a top player in Malaya from the 1930s to the 1950s. Noted for his smooth but powerful strokes and graceful footwork, he won the singles title seven times in Singapore and eight times in Malaya during this period, as well as being the top player in the All England, the Danish Open, the Indian Open, and the Philippines Open to name a few. Wong's great rival during his career was his contemporary Ong Poh Lim.

Albert Osswald was a German politician (SPD). He served as the 3rd Minister President of the state of Hessen from 1969 to 1976 and as the 27th President of the Bundesrat in 1975/76.

Leon Garfield FRSL was a British writer of fiction. He is best known for children's historical novels, though he also wrote for adults. He wrote more than thirty books and scripted Shakespeare: The Animated Tales for television.
