Josiah Gordon "Doc" Scurlock was an American Old West figure, cowboy, and gunfighter. A founding member of the Regulators during the Lincoln County War in New Mexico, Scurlock rode alongside such men as Billy the Kid.

Julio Antonio Mella McPartland was an activist and is known as one of the founders of the "internationalized" Cuban Communist Party, in 1925 by leaders of the party in Moscow, Soviet Union. After becoming a political activist, Mella had studied law in the University of Havana but was expelled in 1925. He was working against the government of Gerardo Machado, who became a dictator of Cuba.

Georges Eugène Benjamin Clemenceau was a French statesman who served as Prime Minister of France from 1906 to 1909 and again from 1917 until 1920. A popular figure of the Independent Radicals, he played a central role in the politics of the Third Republic, most notably successfully leading the country through the end of the First World War.

Carl Julius Otto Liebe was Prime Minister of Denmark 30 March 1920 to 5 April 1920. Otto Liebe was appointed prime minister after King Christian X had dismissed Carl Theodor Zahle and his cabinet, because of dissatisfaction with the amount of land ceded to Denmark in the Schleswig Plebiscite. This use of power by the king, which was based in the Danish constitution, led to the Easter Crisis of 1920, and Otto Liebe was replaced by Michael Pedersen Friis after 5 days. The incident also led to a revision of the Danish constitution later in 1920.

John Postle Heseltine was a painter and art collector who became a trustee of the National Gallery, London. He donated the paintings A Garden Scene with Waterfowl by Anthonie van Borssum, Portrait of a Grand Vizir by Jean-Etienne Liotard, A Cowherd passing a Horse and Cart in a Stream by Jan Siberechts, and Portrait of a Man, probably Johann Feige by Lucas Cranach the Elder.

Maurice Paul Emmanuel Sarrail was a French general of the First World War. Sarrail's openly socialist political connections made him a rarity amongst the Catholics, conservatives and monarchists who dominated the French Army officer corps under the Third Republic before the war, and were the main reason why he was appointed to command at Salonika.
