José de Figueroa y Alonso-Martínez
José de Figueroa y Alonso-Martínez was a Spanish equestrian who was part of the silver-medal winning Spanish men's polo team in the 1920 Summer Olympics. He was killed in action during the Rif War soon after his Olympic appearance. He was the son of Álvaro de Figueroa, who was Prime Minister of Spain.
Mikhail Eisenstein
Mikhail Osipovich Eisenstein was a civil engineer and architect working in Riga, the present-day capital of Latvia, when the city was part of the Russian Empire. He was active as an architect in the city at a time of great economic expansion and consequent enlargement, which coincided with the flourishing of Art Nouveau architecture. During the years 1901–1906, Eisenstein designed many of the best-known Art Nouveau buildings of Riga. His son, Sergei Eisenstein, became a well-known Soviet film director.
Vladimir Purishkevich
Vladimir Mitrofanovich Purishkevich was a right-wing politician in Imperial Russia, noted for his monarchist, ultra-nationalist, antisemitic and anticommunist views. Because of his restless behaviour, he was regarded as a loose cannon. At the end of 1916, he participated in the killing of Grigori Rasputin.
