Robert Oliver Ragland was an American film score composer, best known for his soundtracks to numerous genre films ranging from blaxploitation (Abby), to horror, to monster movies, to thrillers and action films. Throughout his career, he worked with cult filmmakers including William Girdler, Menahem Golan, Larry Cohen, and J. Lee Thompson.

Piero Regnoli (1921–2001) was an Italian screenwriter and film director. Born in 1921, Regnoli worked in the film industry between 1953 and 1991 where he wrote over 110 screenplays and directed 11 films. Regnoli's work ranged from sword-and-sandal films, westerns, horror and sexy comedies. His final film where he was officially credited as a director was La principessa sul pisello in 1976. Regnoli did uncredited direction on the 1986 melodrama Giuro che ti amo starring Nino D'Angelo.

Klaus Hänel was a German footballer who played as a winger or midfielder for Werder Bremen. With Werder Bremen he won the Bundesliga in the 1964–65 season. He made his last Bundesliga appearance on 13 January 1968 against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Austin Deasy was an Irish Fine Gael politician who served as Minister for Agriculture from 1982 to 1987. He served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Waterford constituency from 1977 to 2002. He was a Senator from 1973 to 1977, after being nominated by the Taoiseach.

Ben Joseph Jones was a Grenadian politician. He was a lawyer before being elected to Parliament as a member of the New National Party in 1984. In 1984 he began serving as foreign minister in the government of his party's leader, Herbert Blaize. When Blaize died in December 1989, Jones became prime minister of Grenada. He served until March 1990, when his party lost elections. He also gave up his position as foreign minister at that time, but was reappointed later that year. Though his party was out of power, Jones continued serving as foreign minister until 1991.
