Trần Hữu Tri (1915—1951), commonly known by his pseudonym Nam Cao, was a Vietnamese short story writer and novelist. His works generally received high acclaim from critics for their thoughtful description and veracious reflection of the society in the 1945 era. As a member of the Cultural Association for National Liberation led by the Communist Party, he was frequently sent to various places to do missions. In November 1951, he was ambushed and killed on the way to Lien Khu III, Ninh Bình Province, before his intention of writing a novel about his country and the revolution was ever met.

Lien Te-an is a Taiwanese luger who has competed since 2012. He competed in the first ever Youth Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, where he finished 20th out of 25th. Te-An also competed for Chinese Taipei at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, where he placed 39th in the men's single competition.

Ha Hee-ra is a South Korean actress. Ha began her acting career in 1981 when she was in the sixth grade, appearing mostly in films for teenagers. In the 1990s, Ha became one of the top actresses in Korean television, along with Chae Shi-ra and Kim Hee-ae. Among her notable dramas include What Women Want (1990), What Is Love (1991), The Break of Dawn (1993), Catching Up with Gangnam Moms (2007) and The President (2010).

Doğan Alemdar is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Süper Lig club Kayserispor. He is also capped for Turkey U17 and Turkey U18.
