Finnr Árnason was a Norwegian nobleman and advisor to both King Olaf Haraldsson and King Harald III of Norway and later served King Sweyn II of Denmark. He was the feudal lord (lendmann) of Austrått.

Anseau de Garlande (1069–1118), son of Guillaume I de Garlande and his wife Havoise, grand son of Adam de Garlande. His titles included: Count of Rochefort-en-Yvelines, Seigneur of Gournay-sur-Marne, and Pontault and Berchères. De Garlande served as seneschal of France under Louis VI from 1108 to 1118. It is unclear when Anseau was count, although it is likely that he assumed the title after his brother-in-law Guy II the Red died in 1108.

Ernest of Opava was a member of the Opava branch of the Přemyslid dynasty. He was Duke of Opava from 1433 to 1461 and Duke of Münsterberg from 1452 to 1456.

Thomas Percy was a member of the group of provincial English Catholics who planned the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605. A tall, physically impressive man, little is known of his early life beyond his matriculation in 1579 at the University of Cambridge, and his marriage in 1591 to Martha Wright. In 1596 his second cousin once removed, Henry Percy, 9th Earl of Northumberland, appointed him constable of Alnwick Castle and made him responsible for the Percy family's northern estates. He served the earl in the Low Countries in about 1600–1601, and in the years before 1603 was his intermediary in a series of confidential communications with King James VI of Scotland.

Adolph II, Count of Nassau-Wiesbaden-Idstein was a son of Walram IV, Count of Nassau-Idstein his wife, Bertha of Westerburg. He married in 1418 with Margaret (1404–1442), a daughter of Bernard I, Margrave of Baden-Baden. After his father's death in 1393, he ruled Nassau-Wiesbaden and Nassau-Idstein.
