Nuriye Akman is a Turkish journalist, columnist, and novelist who is especially known for her interviewing prominent figures in Turkish politics and culture.

Cuthbert was a medieval Anglo-Saxon Archbishop of Canterbury in England. Prior to his elevation to Canterbury, he was abbot of a monastic house, and perhaps may have been Bishop of Hereford also, but evidence for his holding Hereford mainly dates from after the Norman Conquest of England in 1066. While Archbishop, he held church councils and built a new church in Canterbury. It was during Cuthbert's archbishopric that the Diocese of York was raised to an archbishopric. Cuthbert died in 760 and was later regarded as a saint.

Ivanko was the ruler of the Despotate of Dobruja from 1385 to 1389, and again from 1393 to 1399. His father was Dobrotitsa.

Byron Balasco is an American television producer and screenwriter. He has written and produced for the shows Without a Trace (2006–2009), FlashForward (2010), and Detroit 1-8-7 (2010–2011). In 2014, he signed on to executive produce and write for the series he created Kingdom featuring Frank Grillo.

Khalid Saeed Batarfi, also known as Abū al-Miqdād al-Kindī, is a Saudi Arabian militant and the current emir of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. He oversaw the Yemen-based group's media network and led jihadist fighters in their takeover of Yemen's Abyan Governorate in 2011, where he was accorded the position of emir. He also reputedly carried out terrorist attacks in the Abyan and Hadhramaut governorates.
