Mabel Bagenal was an Anglo-Irish noblewoman and Countess of Tyrone, often referred to simplistically as the "Helen of the Elizabethan Wars".

Nadezhda Ivanova-Vasilyeva was one of several women who claimed to be Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia. Vasilyeva first surfaced in Siberia in 1920, as she was trying to travel to China. She was arrested by the Bolshevik authorities and was imprisoned in succession at Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Leningrad, and an island gulag in the White Sea. In 1934 she was moved to a prison hospital in Kazan. She wrote letters in French and German to King George V of the United Kingdom asking him to help his "cousin" Anastasia. At one point she changed her story and said she was the daughter of a merchant from Riga. Later, she again claimed to be Anastasia. She died in an insane asylum in 1971. According to the head of the hospital in Kazan, "except for her claim that she was Anastasia, she was completely sane."

Italo Petriccione is a multi-award winning Italian cinematographer who has worked with directors such as Gabriele Salvatores, Paolo Virzì, and Leonardo Pieraccioni, during a career spanning more than three decades. He has been nominated six times for both the David di Donatello for Best Cinematography and the Nastro d'Argento for Best Cinematography, winning both awards for the film adaptation of I'm Not Scared.

Judah ha-Nasi or Judah I, was a second-century rabbi and chief redactor and editor of the Mishnah. He lived from approximately 135 to 217 CE. He was a key leader of the Jewish community during the Roman occupation of Judea.

Ariarathes III, son of Ariaramnes, ruler of Cappadocia, and grandson of Ariarathes II, married Stratonice, a daughter of Antiochus II, king of Syria and wife Laodice I, and obtained a share in the government during the lifetime of his father. About 250 BC he was the first ruler of Cappadocia to proclaim himself king (basileus). It is known that he sided with Antiochus Hierax in his war against Seleucus II Callinicus. Ariarathes is also said to have expanded his kingdom adding Cataonia to his dominions. By his marriage he was the father of Ariarathes IV.
