Pakize İzzet Tarzi (1910–2004) was a Syrian-Turkish physician. She is renowned for being the first female gynecologist in the Republic of Turkey.

Henry Hart (1566-1637) was an Anglo-Irish soldier and landowner of the Elizabethan and early Stuart eras. He served in the Nine Years' War (1584-1603) and was later involved in the opening incident of O'Doherty's Rebellion in 1608. As a servitor he acquired an estate in County Donegal.

Bernard was the Margrave of the Nordmark from 1009 until his death. He was the son of Dietrich of Haldensleben and a rival of the counts of Walbeck, one of whom, Werner, he succeeded in the march following his deposition.

One of his first castings was as Tito in the film Into the West, for which he won a Young Artist Award in the Outstanding Youth Actors in a Family Foreign Film category. In 1998, Conroy received the Theatre World Award for his performance in Martin McDonagh's play, The Cripple of Inishmaan.
