Pantelis Pantelidis was a Greek singer, songwriter and lyricist. He died on 18 February 2016 in a car crash.

Ivica Kostelić is a former World Cup alpine ski racer from Croatia. He specialized in slalom and combined, but was also one of the few alpine World Cup ski racers able to score points in all disciplines. He is the brother of skiing champion Janica Kostelić. In his career he was coached by his father Ante Kostelić, as well as by Kristian Ghedina and Tomislav Krstičević.

José Napoleón Duarte Fuentes was a Salvadoran politician who served as President of El Salvador from June 1, 1984 to June 1, 1989. He was mayor of San Salvador before running for president in 1972. He lost, but the election is widely viewed as fraudulent. Following a counter-coup in 1979, Duarte led the subsequent civil-military Junta from 1980 to 1982. He was then elected president in 1984, defeating ARENA party leader Roberto D'Aubuisson.

Lionginas Šepetys was a Lithuanian politician. He became Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the Lithuanian SSR in 1981. In 1990 Šepetys was among those who signed the Act of the Re-Establishment of the State of Lithuania.

Inge Landgut was a German actress. She is probably best-remembered for playing Pony Hütchen in Emil and the Detectives and as the child murder victim Elsie Beckmann in Fritz Lang's classic M, both films were released in 1931. Landgut continued her acting career into adulthood, making both film and television appearances.
