Hans Lutz is a retired track cyclist and road bicycle racer from Germany, who represented West Germany at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. There he won the gold medal in the Men's Team Pursuit, alongside Gregor Braun, Peter Vonhof and Günther Schumacher. Four years earlier, when Munich hosted the Summer Olympics, he won the bronze medal in the Men's 4.000m Individual Pursuit.

Martin Hugo Löb was a German mathematician. He settled in the United Kingdom after the Second World War and specialised in mathematical logic. He moved to the Netherlands in the 1970s, where he remained in retirement. He is perhaps best known for having formulated Löb's theorem in 1955.

Zephaniah Platt was an American lawyer and politician from Michigan. He was Michigan Attorney General from 1841 to 1843.

Yuriko Handa is a retired Japanese volleyball player. She was a member of the Japanese winning teams, Oriental Witches, at the 1962 World Championships and 1964 Summer Olympics.
