Chi Kuan-chun born June 14, 1949, also known as Chik Goon-Gwan, is a Hong Kong-based Chinese actor, martial artist, and Hung Ga practitioner. He is best known for playing Shaolin rebel Hu Huei Chien in several martial arts films in the 1970s. He also co-starred with Alexander Fu in many films at that time.

Peter Benjamin Hessler is an American writer and journalist. He is the author of four books about China and has contributed numerous articles to The New Yorker and National Geographic, among other publications. In 2011, Hessler received a MacArthur Fellowship in recognition and encouragement of his "keenly observed accounts of ordinary people responding to the complexities of life in such rapidly changing societies as Reform Era China."

Tong Bing Yu is a Malaysian actress. She first established her career in Singapore from 2008 as a Mediacorp artiste and is now based in China from 2018. While Singapore, she was known as Chris Tong in the English media. After leaving Singapore to act in China in 2018, she is currently known as 童缤毓, however retaining the former spelling for communications in English.
