Alec Berg is an American comedy writer. He wrote for the sitcom Seinfeld and is co-creator and executive producer of Barry with Bill Hader. He also co-wrote the screenplays for the films The Cat in the Hat, EuroTrip and The Dictator. In addition, Berg is an executive producer of Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm and has directed numerous episodes of it, and also an executive producer of Silicon Valley. In 2016, Alec Berg signed an overall deal with HBO.

Alex Rackley was a member of the New York chapter of the Black Panther Party in the late 1960s. In May 1969, because of a targeted smear campaign orchestrated by the FBI; which framed members of the BPP as being "undercover cops" to harm their image and cause infighting between members of the Black Panthers. Because of this, Rackley was suspected by other Panthers of being a police informant. He was brought to Panther headquarters in New Haven, Connecticut, held captive and tortured there for several days, condemned to death, taken to the wetlands of Middlefield, Connecticut, and murdered there.

Ali Douba is a former head of the Syrian military intelligence and was a close adviser to the Syrian president Hafez al-Assad. The military intelligence under Douba was the single most important security agency in Syria, handling security within the army, but also dealing with the general safeguarding of the regime.
