Siswondo Parman or more popularly known such as in streets name as S. Parman, was a soldier in the Indonesian Army, and was kidnapped from his home in Jakarta by members of the 30 September Movement in the early hours of October 1. He was later killed at Lubang Buaya.

Jamieson Ronald Reed is a British Labour politician who served as the Member of Parliament for Copeland from 2005 until his resignation in 2017.

Sir Osbert Lancaster, CBE was an English cartoonist, architectural historian, stage designer and author. He was known for his cartoons in the British press, and for his lifelong work to inform the general public about good buildings and architectural heritage.

Squadron Leader Geoffrey Harris Augustus Wellum DFC was a British fighter pilot and author, best known for his participation in the Battle of Britain. Born an only child in Walthamstow, Essex, Wellum was educated at Forest School, Snaresbrook before serving in the RAF. After the war he remained in the RAF until 1961, and later ran a haulage business. In the mid-1980s he retired and moved to Mullion, Cornwall, where he wrote down his wartime memoirs. In 2002 these were published as First Light.

Arbaaz Khan is an Indian actor, director and film producer, who predominantly works in Hindi language films. He has also acted in a few Urdu, Telugu and Malayalam language films as well as television series. Since making his debut in 1996, he has acted in many leading and supporting roles. He ventured into film production in Bollywood, with Arbaaz Khan Productions, launched with Dabangg (2010), in which he starred as the younger brother of his real-life brother Salman Khan. The film went on to become one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of all time. He also won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment for the same. He also hosted the reality show Power Couple, which aired on Sony TV. In 2019, Khan made his digital debut with crime-thriller web series Poison.

Sabine Thalbach (1932–1966) was a German actress who appeared in many East German films. She was married to the director Benno Besson, and was the mother of the actress Katharina Thalbach.

Michel Déon was a French novelist and literary columnist. He published over 50 works and was the recipient of numerous awards, including the Prix Interallié for his 1970 novel, Les Poneys sauvages. Déon's 1973 novel Un taxi mauve received the Grand Prix du roman de l'Académie française. His novels have been translated into numerous languages.
