Lauri Elias Markkanen is a Finnish professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). In the 2017 NBA draft, he was taken by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the seventh overall pick before being included in a trade to the Chicago Bulls for Jimmy Butler. He is the son of Finnish basketball players Pekka and Riikka Markkanen, and the younger brother of soccer player Eero Markkanen.

Joel Kiviranta is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing with the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Jare Henrik Tiihonen, better known by his stage name Cheek, is a Finnish former rapper. During his career, he released nine studio albums.

Airi Mikkelä is a Finnish badminton player. She started playing badminton at 8 years old, then in 2009, she joined Finnish national badminton team. Mika Pauli Häkkinen, nicknamed "The Flying Finn", is a Finnish former racing driver. He was the 1998 and 1999 Formula One World Champion, driving for McLaren. Häkkinen is one of three Formula One drivers from Finland to win the World Championship, and is the only Finnish driver in history to win it on multiple occasions. Häkkinen currently works in driver management and is a brand ambassador for various companies.

Eino Matti "Eicca" Toppinen is a Finnish cellist, songwriter, producer, arranger, and drummer. In 1993 he formed the quartet Apocalyptica.

Paavo Juho Talvela was a Finnish soldier and a Knight of the Mannerheim Cross. He volunteered in the Jäger Movement in Germany from 1916 until 1917. He was then a battalion commander in the Finnish Civil War. Afterwards Talvela was promoted to the rank of major, and was at the time the youngest major in Finland. In accordance with his nationalistic views, Talvela temporarily resigned from the Finnish Army to act as a leading figurehead for the Kinship Wars of the 1920s. He served as the Commander in Chief of the 1919 Aunus expedition.

Max Lilja is a Finnish cello player. He is best known as a founding member of the Finnish cello metal band Apocalyptica, a band he left in 2001 to join the Finnish thrash metal band Hevein. Beginning in 2007, Lilja has been a recording and touring member of Tarja Turunen's solo band. Throughout his career, Lilja has continued to play classical music alongside rock, metal, and crossover projects.

Anna Eira Margarida Heiskari, known professionally as simply Anna Abreu, is a Finnish singer and songwriter. Abreu first rose to fame in Finland after placing as the runner-up in the third series of the Finnish singing talent show Idols in 2007. Her music has been described as pop with influences from genres such as R&B, dance, and Latin. Since her participation in Idols, Abreu has become one of the best-selling former Idols contestants in Finland, and one of the most successful Finnish female singers. She has certified record sales surpassing 190,000 copies, which places her also among the 100 best-selling music artists of all time in Finland.

Laura “Laila” Annikki Kinnunen was a Finnish singer. She was one of the most popular Finnish singers of the 1950s and 1960s, and represented Finland at the 1961 Eurovision Song Contest, the first time Finland participated in the contest.
