Từ Cung Hoàng thái hậu (1890-1980), was an Empress Dowager of Vietnam 1926-1945. She was the mother of emperor Bảo Đại of the Nguyễn dynasty. She was the concubine of emperor Khải Định. She had never been empress, but was given the title of empress dowager in her capacity as the mother of the emperor.

Pierre Martin Ngô Đình Thục was the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Huế, Vietnam, and was later a sedevacantist bishop. He was a member of the Ngô family who ruled South Vietnam in the years leading up to the Vietnam War. He was the founder of Dalat University.

Tôn-Thất Tiết is a Vietnamese-born French music composer. His double-character family name is Tôn Thất, his given name Tiết (尊室節).

Tran Ngoc Châu was a Vietnamese soldier, civil administrator, politician, and later political prisoner, in the Republic of Vietnam until its demise with the Fall of Saigon in 1975.
