Pieter van der Werff was a Dutch Golden Age painter. He assisted his older brother, Adriaen van der Werff.

Laurens "Lau" van Ravens was a Dutch international football referee, who featured at the 1970 FIFA World Cup. He officiated in the 1950s, 60s and 70s, becoming an international referee in 1966.

Astrid van der Knaap is a Dutch badminton player, born in The Hague. She competed in women's singles at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. She was four times the Dutch National Ladies Singles Champion in 1988, 1991, 1993 & 1994. She was runner-up at the World Grand Prix Dutch Open event in 1988. She won the Swiss Open twice in 1987 & 1992.

Justine Pelmelay is a singer who represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1989. Her entry, "Blijf zoals je bent" was placed fifteenth out of the 22 participating songs. Pelmelay made another attempt at Eurovision in 2005 with the song "What you see is what you get" but it did not qualify for the Dutch national final.

Laurine van Riessen is a long track speed skater and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Track Team BEAT Cycling. She competed for the Netherlands at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver in the 500, 1000, and 1500 metres and won the bronze medal in the 1000 metres. In 2015, she switched to track cycling and won a bronze medal in the team sprint at the 2015 UEC European Track Championships in Grenchen, Switzerland.
