Jerzy Stroba (1919–1999) was a Polish Roman Catholic bishop.

Krzysztof Stroiński is a Polish actor. He performed in more than forty films since 1971. He won the 2009 Polish Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in Scratch.

Michał Probierz is a Polish football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He is currently in charge of Ekstraklasa side Cracovia. Probierz won the Polish Cup with Jagiellonia Białystok in 2010, as well as the Polish Super Cup later the following season.

Maximilian Kaller was Roman Catholic Bishop of Ermland in East Prussia from 1930–1947, however, de facto expelled since mid-August 1945 he served as special bishop for the homeland-expellees until his death.

Anneli Cahn Lax was an American mathematician, who was known for being an editor of the Mathematics Association of America's New Mathematical Library Series, and for her work in reforming mathematics education with the inclusion of language skills. Anneli Lax received a bachelor's degree in 1942 from Adelphi University and her doctorate in 1956. She was a professor of mathematics at New York University's Courant Institute. She was married to the mathematician, Peter Lax.
