Siera Bearchell is a Canadian beauty pageant titleholder, model, entrepreneur, and body positivity activist who was crowned Miss Universe Canada 2016. She represented Canada in the Miss Universe 2016 competition in Manila, where she placed in the top nine. While competing in Miss Universe, Bearchell received media attention for her curvier figure, which was seen as a detraction from the typical body standards associated with beauty pageants, and for her response to immense body shaming from Internet trolls.

Jaden Schwartz is a Canadian ice hockey player for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). Schwartz was selected 14th overall by the Blues in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Schwartz won the Stanley Cup as a member of the Blues in 2019, leading the team in goal scoring during the playoffs.

Frederick "Fred" Sasakamoose, was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He was one of the first Canadian Indigenous players in the National Hockey League, and the first First Nations player with treaty status. He played 11 games with the Chicago Black Hawks during the 1953–54 season; the rest of his career, which lasted from 1953 to 1960, was spent in various minor leagues. After his playing career, Sasakamoose became involved in Indigenous affairs, and served as chief of the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation for a period. He was later recognized for his work, including being named a member of the Order of Canada.

Mary Greyeyes Reid was a Canadian World War II servicewoman. A Cree from the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation in Saskatchewan, she was the first First Nations woman to enlist in the Canadian Armed Forces. After joining the Canadian Women's Army Corps (CWAC) in 1942, she became the subject of an internationally famous army publicity photograph, and was sent overseas to serve in London, England, where she was introduced to public figures such as George VI and his daughter Elizabeth. Greyeyes remained in London until being discharged in 1946, after which she returned to Canada.

Michael Burgess, was a Canadian actor and tenor singer, best known for his portrayal of Jean Valjean in the Toronto production of Les Misérables. He was the anthem singer of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

He served in the executive council of Brad Wall from 2014–2017, twice as Minister of Environment and as Minister of Advanced Education, after which he resigned to launch his campaign for the leadership of the Saskatchewan Party.
