Mikhail Il'ich Zelikin is a Russian mathematician, who works on differential equations, optimal control theory, differential games, the theory of fields of extremals for multiple integrals, the geometry of Grassmannians. He proposed an explanation of ball lightning based on the hypothesis of plasma superconductivity.

Alexandr Borisovich Zinchenko is a Russian badminton player. Zinchenko started playing badminton at the Solntsevo Sports School in Moscow, at the age of eight. His mother took Zinchenko there, because she was fond of badminton and played as an amateur. He made a debut in the international senior tournament in 2012. In 2014, he won the Turkey International tournament partnered with Konstantin Abramov. In 2016, he won the Estonian International tournament in the mixed doubles event partnered with Olga Morozova. In 2017, he and Abramov won the Swedish International Series tournament.

Ellina Aleksandrovna Zvereva is a Belarusian discus thrower best known for winning the gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics. She became world champion in 1995, and again in 2001 after the disqualification of Natalya Sadova. Her victory in 2001 made her the oldest World Champion ever, at 40 years and 269 days.

Yuri Yuryevich Larionov is a Russian pair skater. With former partner Vera Bazarova, he is the 2012–13 Grand Prix Final silver medalist, a three-time European medalist, the 2007 World Junior silver medalist, and the 2012 Russian national champion. They won six senior Grand Prix series medals outside the final, including gold at the 2012 NHK Trophy.
