Alexey Pichugin
Alexey Vladimirovich Pichugin is a former manager in the security department at the Russian oil company Yukos. In 2003, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a campaign to expropriate Yukos and to harass and punish its executives. During testimony before an international tribunal in a case challenging Russia's campaign against Yukos, in which the tribunal found the company indeed had been unlawfully expropriated, a former advisor to President Putin testified that the campaign included formation in February 2003 of “a special unit [that] was set up to fabricate evidence” and to “launch the Government attack [against Yukos] under the guise of ‘legitimate’ court proceedings". Pichugin faced multiple trials, which have been determined by the European Court of Human Rights to have been unfair and in violation of his human rights. His case has been described as a politically motivated attempt to obtain false evidence against Yukos executives Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Leonid Nevzlin and Pichugin is said to be “the longest-serving political prisoner in Russia".

Valeriy Nikolayevich Andreev, known as The Orsk Maniac, is a Russian serial killer and rapist responsible for the abductions, rapes and killings of various girls and women in the Orenburg Oblast from 2006 to 2012. Investigators have conclusively tied him to at least 7 murders, after which he was put on a wanted list, but managed to escape. As of 2020, he remains one of the ten most dangerous criminals wanted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In total, police suspect his involvement in the disappearances of more than 100 girls and women.

Sofia Vyacheslavovna Samodurova is a Russian figure skater. She is the 2019 European champion, the 2019 CS Ice Star champion, the 2018 Rostelecom Cup silver medalist, and the 2018 Skate America bronze medalist.

Iolanda Chen
Yolanda Chen is a retired Russian athlete. She started as a pentathlete, but decided to specialize in long jump. In 1988 she achieved a personal best of 7.16 metres, a good result, but from 1992 she switched in triple jump instead, a relatively new event for women. Inspired by her father Yevgeniy Chen, who was among the world elite in the 1950s, she managed to jump 13.72 metres in 1992. Her great-grandfather was Eugene Chen.
