Page also received recognition for his role in the film Hard Candy (2005), and won a Austin Film Critics Association's Award.

Anita Indira Anand is a Canadian lawyer and politician who has served as the minister of national defence since 2021. She has represented the riding of Oakville in the House of Commons since the 2019 federal election, sitting as a member of the Liberal Party. Anand previously served as minister of public services and procurement from 2019 to 2021. She is the first Indian Canadian of a Hindu background to become a federal minister in Canada.

August Ames was a Canadian pornographic actress and model. She appeared in almost 290 movies, including a non-pornographic film in 2016, and was nominated for several AVN Awards. In 2017, at the age of 23, Ames committed suicide after a particular event of social media backlash following a tweet she posted.

Sidney Patrick Crosby is a Canadian professional ice hockey player and captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Frankie records meteorologist reports then he posts the videos to his YouTube channel, under the handle of dogsandwolves. MacDonald's videos have received more than 32 million views. He also maintains a Twitter account and blog. Weather reports MacDonald has produced include warnings for his home province of Nova Scotia, a snowstorm in Winnipeg, heavy rainfall in Vancouver, a storm in Minnesota, New York, Australia, and Bermuda during Hurricane Gonzalo of 2014.

John Francis Dunsworth was a Canadian actor best remembered for playing the alcoholic trailer park supervisor Jim Lahey on the comedy series Trailer Park Boys. He was also known for playing the mysterious reporter Dave Teagues on the supernatural drama series Haven, and for playing Officer McNabb in Shattered City: The Halifax Explosion, a CBC film about the 1917 Halifax Explosion. He had extensive experience in regional theater.

Viola Irene Desmond was a Canadian civil rights activist and businesswoman of Black Nova Scotian descent. In 1946 she challenged racial segregation at a cinema in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia by refusing to leave a whites-only area of the Roseland Theatre. For this, she was convicted of a minor tax violation for the one-cent tax difference between the seat she had paid for and the seat she used, which was more expensive. Desmond's case is one of the most publicized incidents of racial discrimination in Canadian history and helped start the modern civil rights movement in Canada.

Maud Kathleen Lewis was a Canadian folk artist from Nova Scotia. Lewis lived most of her life in poverty in a small house in Marshalltown, Nova Scotia, achieving national recognition in 1964 and 1965. Several books, plays and films have since been produced about her. Lewis remains one of Canada's best-known folk artists; her works and the restored Maud Lewis House are displayed in the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.

Bradley Kevin Marchand is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger and alternate captain for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Marchand was selected by the Bruins in the third round, 71st overall, at the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. During his time with the Bruins, he won the Stanley Cup in 2011 and was named to the 2017 and 2018 NHL All-Star Game.
