Marcos Baghdatis is a retired Cypriot tennis player. He was the runner-up at the 2006 Australian Open and a semifinalist at the 2006 Wimbledon Championships and reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 8, in August 2006. In the latter part of his career, Baghdatis endured a series of injuries that impacted his play.

Theodoros "Theo" Paphitis is a Greek-Cypriot retail tycoon and entrepreneur. He is best known for his appearances on the BBC business programme Dragons' Den and as former chairman of Millwall Football Club.

Evridiki Theokleous, known professionally as simply Evridiki, is a Greek Cypriot rock, pop, and electropop singer. She is best known in Europe for representing her home country, Cyprus, in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1992, 1994 and 2007 with the songs Teriazoume, Eimai Anthropos Ki Ego and Comme Ci, Comme Ça, respectively.

Georgios Efrem is a Cypriot international footballer who plays as a winger for APOEL in the Cypriot First Division. Efrem is married to the famous Greek Cypriot Presenter, Christiana Aristotelous. He is a product of Arsenal F.C. Academy.

Christina Metaxa is a Greek Cypriot singer and songwriter. Her elder brother, Nikolas Metaxas, is also a singer and won second place in the Greek version of The X Factor. Her brother is also the creator and composer of her Eurovision entry, "Firefly".

Michael Cacoyannis was a Greek Cypriot filmmaker, best known for his 1964 film Zorba the Greek. He directed the 1983 Broadway revival of the musical based on the film. Much of his work was rooted in classical texts, especially those of the Greek tragedian Euripides. He was nominated for an Academy Award five times, a record for any Cypriot film artist. He received Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Film nominations for Zorba the Greek, and two nominations in the Foreign Language Film category for Electra and Iphigenia.

Despina Olympiou, also known as Dena Olympiou, is a Greek Cypriot singer, famous in her homeland as well as in Greece. She represented Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden.

Giorgos Merkis is a Cypriot international footballer who plays for APOEL in the Cypriot First Division as a centre back.
