Álvaro Vargas Llosa is a Peruvian-Spanish writer and political commentator on international affairs with emphasis on Latin America. He is also the writer and presenter of a documentary series for National Geographic Channel on contemporary Latin American history that is being shown around the world.

Aldo Sebastián Corzo Chávez is a Peruvian footballer who plays as right back. He currently plays for Club Universitario de Deportes and the Peru national team.

Víctor Benítez Morales is a Peruvian former footballer, who played as a centre-back or defensive midfielder. Nicknamed "El Conejo", he played for several clubs, notably Italian clubs A.C. Milan, A.S. Roma and F.C. Internazionale Milano as well as Argentine club Boca Juniors. He won the European Cup title with A.C. Milan in 1963.

Mauricio Fiol Villanueva is a Peruvian swimmer. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the Men's 200 metre butterfly, finishing in 25th place overall in the heats, failing to qualify for the semifinals.
