Leonid Aleksandrovich Govorov was a Soviet military commander. Trained as an artillery officer, he joined the Red Army in 1920. He graduated from several Soviet military academies, including the Military Academy of Red Army General Staff. He participated in the Winter War of 1939–1940 against Finland as a senior artillery officer.

Vladimir Vasilievich Krikunov is retired Soviet and Russian ice hockey player and former head coach of team Russia. He is currently a coach of the KHL club Dynamo Moscow. As a player Krikunov played for Dinamo Riga and Krylya Sovetov Moscow. During his coaching career he coached Dynamo Moscow and Team Russia. He won Russian championships as a coach in 2004/2005 season, bronze medal at world championships and lead Russian team in 2006 winter olympics.

Timofey Vladimirovich Tribuntsev is a Russian actor. Winner of the Nika Award-2017.

Yekaterina Vladimirovna Shikhova is a Russian speed skater. She won a team bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics, and an individual allround bronze medal at the 2013 World Championships.

Albert Likhanov was a Russian writer and politician. A children's writer, he also served in the Congress of People's Deputies of the Soviet Union. He died on 25 December 2021, at the age of 86.

Competing for Azerbaijan with Julia Zlobina, he is the 2013 Golden Spin of Zagreb champion, 2013 Volvo Open Cup champion, 2012 Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist, and 2013 Winter Universiade silver medalist. They competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics, finishing 12th, and have placed as high as sixth at the European Championships (2014).

Julia Sergeyevna Zlobina is an ice dancer. Competing for Azerbaijan with Alexei Sitnikov, she is the 2013 Golden Spin of Zagreb champion, 2013 Volvo Open Cup champion, 2012 Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist, and 2013 Winter Universiade silver medalist.
