Piet Rooijakkers is a road bicycle racer from the Netherlands. He retired after the 2010 season after his previous team Skil–Shimano did not offer him a contract extension.

Johan Lammerts is a retired road bicycle racer from the Netherlands, who was a professional rider from 1982 to 1992. His biggest success came in 1984, when he won the Tour of Flanders and the Ronde van Nederland. Lammerts also won the 20th stage in the 1985 Tour de France.

Jan de Kreek was a Dutch footballer. He played in three matches for the Netherlands national football team in 1930.

Jan Smeekens is a Dutch former speed skater. He is a 500 m specialist.

Michiel Elijzen is a Dutch former professional road bicycle racer, who retired from competition after the 2010 season to become a sporting director for Omega Pharma–Lotto, the team for which he last rode competitively. He now works as a directeur sportif for the Sunweb Group B.V. teams: UCI WorldTeam Team DSM, UCI Women's WorldTeam Team DSM, and UCI Continental team Development Team Sunweb.

Johannes Burman, was a Dutch botanist and physician. Burman specialized in plants from Ceylon, Amboina and Cape Colony. The name Pelargonium was introduced by Johannes Burman.

Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman was an experimental Dutch artist, typographer and printer. He set up a clandestine printing house during the Nazi occupation (1940–45) and was shot by the Gestapo in the closing days of the war.
