Isaäc Dignus Fransen van de Putte was a Dutch politician. He was briefly Prime Minister in 1866 and Minister of Colonial Affairs from 1863 to 1866 and from 1872 to 1874.

Jan Heemskerk Abrahamszoon was a Dutch politician who served as Chairman of the Council of Ministers from 1874 to 1877, and again from 1883 to 1888. His son, Theo Heemskerk also served as Chairman of the Council of Ministers.

Hubertus Petrus Maria "Ben" Knapen is a Dutch politician of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) party and historian. He has been a Member of the Senate since 9 June 2015. Starting from June 2019 he is the CDA parliamentary leader in the Senate.
