Yevhen Petrovych Kushnaryov was a prominent Ukrainian politician of the post-Soviet era. Kushnaryov was considered one of the chief ideologues of the Party of Regions and a key ally of Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych.
Boris Savinkov
Boris Viktorovich Savinkov was a Russian writer and revolutionary. As one of the leaders of the Fighting Organisation of the Socialist Revolutionary Party, he became involved in the assassinations of several high-ranking imperial officials in 1904 and 1905.

Valentin Bondarenko
Valentin Vasiliyevich Bondarenko was a Soviet fighter pilot selected in 1960 for training as a cosmonaut. He died as the result of burns sustained in a fire during a 15-day low-pressure endurance experiment in Moscow. The government concealed the death, along with Bondarenko's membership in the cosmonaut corps, until 1980. A crater on the Moon's far side is named after him.

Irina Press
Irina Natanovna Press was a multitalented Soviet athlete who competed at the 1960 and 1964 Olympics. In 1960 she won a gold medal in the 80 m hurdles and finished fourth in the 4 × 100 m relay. In 1964 she finished fourth in the hurdles and sixth in the shot put, but won gold in the newly introduced pentathlon event.
Ihor Rainin
Ihor Lvovych Rainin or Raynin is a Ukrainian politician. From February 2015 until August 2016 he was governor of Kharkiv Oblast. On 29 Aug 2016 he was promoted to head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine. Under a presidential decrees signed on 21 May 2019 he was dismissed by new President Volodymyr Zelensky.
