Asset Orentaiuly Issekeshev is Kazakh politician who is serving as an aide to the President of Kazakhstan and the Secretary of the Security Council since January 2020. Previously, he served as the Executive Director of the Fund of the First President of Kazakhstan from March 2019 to January 2020, head of the Presidential Administration from September 2018 to March 2019, äkim of Nur-Sultan from June 2016 to September 2018, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and New Technologies from March 2010 to August 2014, and Minister of Investments and Development from August 2014 to June 2016.

Talgat Amangeldyuly Musabayev is a Kazakh test pilot and former cosmonaut who flew on three spaceflights. His first two spaceflights were long-duration stays aboard the Russian space station Mir. His third spaceflight was a short duration visiting mission to the International Space Station, which also carried the first paying space tourist Dennis Tito. He retired as a cosmonaut in November 2003. Since 2007 he has been head of Kazakhstan's National Space Agency, KazCosmos.

Magzum Maratuly Myrzagaliev is a Kazakh politician who's serving as the Minister of Energy since 9 September 2021. Prior to that, he was the Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources from 2019 and in the ministry as Vice after working in engineering and managing national company businesses.

Alexander Nikolayevich Vinokourov is a Kazakh former professional road bicycle racer and current general manager of UCI WorldTeam Astana–Premier Tech. He is of Russian origin. As a competitor, his achievements include two bronze medals at the World Championships, four stage wins in the Tour de France, four in the Vuelta a España plus the overall title in 2006, two Liège–Bastogne–Liège monuments, one Amstel Gold Race, and most recently, the gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics Men's Road Race. Vinokourov is a past national champion of Kazakhstan, and a dual-medalist at the Summer Olympics. In 2007, he received a two-year ban from cycling for blood doping. In 2019, he was accused of race fixing by prosecutors in Liège but was later cleared of the charges.

Kamshybek Kunkabayev is a Kazakhstani professional boxer. As an amateur, he won a silver medal at both the 2017 and 2019 World Championships.

Venera Nigmatulina is a Kazakhstani film actress and director of the film festival Shaken's Stars. She is the widow of Talgat Nigmatulin and the mother of Linda Nigmatulina.
