Alana Martins Maldonado is a visually impaired Brazilian Paralympic judoka. She represented Brazil at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and she won the silver medal in the women's 70 kg event.

Nellie Vladimirovna Kim is a retired Soviet Tatar gymnast who won three gold medals and a silver medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, and two gold medals at the 1980 Summer Olympics. She was the second woman in Olympic history to earn a perfect 10 score and the first woman to score it on the vault and on the floor exercise, rivaling Nadia Comăneci, Ludmilla Tourischeva, and other strong competitors of the 1970s. Nellie Kim worked for a long time as a coach, training several national teams, and judged many major international competitions. As President of the Women's Artistic Gymnastics Technical Committee, she coordinates the introduction of new rules in women's gymnastics, as provided by the new Code of Points, developed by the FIG in 2004–2005 and in effect since 2006. Her gymnastic appearances are remembered for "her strong feminine, temperamental and charismatic appeal".

Susno Duadji was the head of Indonesian National Police's Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) until his resignation on 5 November 2009. He was promoted to his last position on October 2008 after serving as Chief of Police in West Java Province for less than a year. He has a rank of Police Commissioner General - equivalent Lieutenant General in the military. His experiences include Chief of Police in Malang, in Madiun, both are in East Java Province, as well as Chief of Police in North Maluku.

Jezreel Corrales González is a Panamanian professional boxer who held the WBA (Super) super featherweight title from 2016 to 2017.

Samuel George Pearse, VC, MM was an Australian recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. Serving in the Australian Imperial Force during the First World War, he saw action during the final weeks of the Gallipoli Campaign in 1915 and later on the Western Front from 1916 to 1918. Following the Armistice he fought as part of the North Russia Relief Force with the British Army during the North Russia Campaign in 1919. He was killed after charging a machine gun post during an action at Emtsa, in North Russia, for which he was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross.
