Zheng Pingru was a Chinese socialite and spy who gathered intelligence on the Imperial Japanese Army during the Second Sino-Japanese War. She was executed after an unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Ding Mocun, the security chief of the Japanese puppet government. Her life is believed to be the inspiration for Eileen Chang's novella Lust, Caution, which was later adapted into the eponymous 2007 film by Ang Lee.

He is the chairman and co-founder of Fosun International Limited, and a representative of the 12th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. According to Hurun Report's 2019 China Rich List he was the 45th richest person in China. As of the end of 2019 he was listed as the 50th richest person in China by Forbes, with a net worth of $6.5 billion.

Zhang Xueying, also known as Sophie Zhang, is a Chinese actress. Zhang is regarded as one of the "New Four Dan actresses of the post-95s Generation" (95后四小花旦), along with Zhang Zifeng, Vicky Chen and Guan Xiaotong.

Lou Jiwei, is a Chinese politician, and current director of the 13th CPPCC Foreign Affairs Committee. Lou was Chairman of China's National Council for Social Security Fund, Minister for Finance, Chairman of China Investment Corporation and Central Huijin Investment, Vice Minister of Finance of China and Vice-Governor of Guizhou.

Tang Enbo (1898–1954) was a Nationalist general in the Republic of China. Along with Hu Zongnan and Xue Yue, Tang was one of the Kuomintang generals most feared and respected by the Japanese during the Second Sino-Japanese War.
