Alwyn Crendall Cashe of Company A, 1st Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, was a United States Army Non-Commissioned Officer posthumously awarded the Silver Star for heroism in Iraq. On December 4 2020, the President signed in to law H.R. 8276, which authorizes the President to posthumously award the Medal of Honor to Alwyn C.
