List of Famous people born in Indonesia

Jones Ralfy Jansen is an Indonesian badminton player and now represents Germany. He was a former PB Djarum players and has joined that club in 2007. In 2010, he awarded as the best Djarum player. He won his first senior international title at the 2013 Portugal International tournament in the mixed doubles event partnered with Keshya Nurvita Hanadia. He also won the 2014 Finnish and Turkey International tournaments with his sister Cisita Joity Jansen.

Bagindo Azizchan, is the second Mayor of Padang after independence, which was inaugurated on August 15, 1946 replacing Mr. Abubakar Jaar. He died at the age of 36 years after being involved in a battle against the Netherlands. His body was interred at the Heroes Cemetery "Bahagia", Bukittinggi. On November 9, 2005 Azizchan was declared a National Hero of Indonesia.

Joko Suprianto is an Indonesian former badminton player who was one of the world's leading men's singles players in the early and mid-1990s, a period during which Indonesia was especially deep in top tier singles players, winning many of the world's major events.
