Philippe Charles Lucien Christanval is a French former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. During his career, he played top-flight football in France, Spain and England, and earned six full international caps, as well as a selection to the 2002 FIFA World Cup.

César d'Estrées was a French diplomat and cardinal.

Antoine Arnauld was a lawyer in the Parlement de Paris, and a Counsellor of State under Henry IV. A skilled orator, his most famous speech was in 1594 in favor of the University of Paris and against the Jesuits, decrying their lack of support for Henry IV, newly converted from Protestantism to Catholicism. He wrote a number of political pamphlets which were widely distributed. The best known of his writings is entitled Le franc et véritable discours du Roi sur le rétablissement qui lui est demandé des Jésuites (1602). He was married to Catherine Marion de Druy and had twenty children by her, ten of whom survived him.

Charles III was Prince of Monaco and Duke of Valentinois from 20 June 1856 to his death. He was the founder of the famous casino in Monte Carlo, as his title in Monegasque and Italian was Carlo III. He was born in Paris, the only son of Florestan, Prince of Monaco, and Maria Caroline Gibert de Lametz.

Ernest Henri Alexandre Boulanger was a French composer of comic operas and a conductor. He was more known, however, for being a choral music composer, choral group director, voice teacher, and vocal contest jury member.

Jean-Michel Larrasket, was a French professor and engineer, as well as vice president for the French Basque Country in the Basque Studies Society. He was a promoter of several projects for the social and economic development of the French Basque Country, and he was also one of the founders of the Eticoop cooperative that promotes entrepreneurship in this geographical area.

Jérôme Peignot is a French novelist, poet, pamphleteer, and an expert in typography. The author of some thirty books, he was awarded the Prix Sainte-Beuve, took part in publishing the writings of Laure, as well as a major anthology on "Typoésie". He is the grandson of Georges Peignot, typographer and director of the foundry G. Peignot et Fils. He is also known for having launched the concept of acousmatic sound in the 1960s.
