Dong Cunrui was a Chinese Communist soldier in the People's Liberation Army during the Chinese Civil War who blew himself up in order to destroy a Kuomintang bunker guarding an approach to an important bridge in Longhua County.

Wu Yue is a Chinese film and television series actor. Some of his more notable roles include Chen Zhen in Huo Yuanjia and Jingwu Yingxiong Chen Zhen (2001); Di Yun in Lian Cheng Jue (2004); Sun Wukong in Journey to the West (2011); Ariq Böke in The Legend of Kublai Khan (2013); and Wan Zonghua in Ip Man 4 (2019).

Ren Xuefeng was a Chinese politician and business executive. Ren was an early leader of the Binhai New Area in Tianjin and served as the city's vice-mayor for eight years. He was transferred to Guangdong province in 2014, where he served as Communist Party Secretary of Guangzhou and Deputy Party Secretary of Guangdong. He was appointed Deputy Party Secretary of Chongqing in October 2018, but died in office a year later at age 54.

Li Shuwen (1864–1934) was a master practitioner of the Chinese martial art of Bajiquan. He was known as "God Spear Li" (神槍李). His prowess was said to be enough that he boasted that he did not have to strike the same opponent twice. He was a martial arts adviser of Fu Zhensong, notably once fighting him to a draw. Li's students eventually became personal bodyguards for Mao Zedong, Chiang Kai-shek, and Henry Pu-Yi.

Duanfang, courtesy name Wuqiao, was a Manchu politician, educator and collector who lived in the late Qing dynasty. He was a member of the Tohoro clan and the Plain White Banner of the Eight Banners.

Zhang Ouying was a Chinese football (soccer) player who competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics and in the 2004 Summer Olympics as well as the 1999, 2003, and 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup. She was a member of the Chinese team that won the silver medal at the 1999 World Cup.
