Ilias Tsirimokos was a Greek politician who served as Prime Minister of Greece for a very brief period.

Grigorios Zalykis was a Greek scholar, writer and diplomat. He was the founder of the "Greek-speaking Hotel", a secret organization established in Paris in 1809 to assist Greeks against Ottoman rule.

Dardanus was a Stoic philosopher, lived c. 160-c. 85 BC.

Pantelis Karasevdas was a Greek shooter. He was a member of Panachaikos Gymnastikos Syllogos, that merged in 1923 with Gymnastiki Etaireia Patron to become Panachaiki Gymnastiki Enosi. Karasevdas competed at the 1896 Summer Olympics in Athens, where he won a gold medal for the host country.

Alexander of Aegae was a Peripatetic philosopher who flourished in Rome in the 1st century AD, and was a disciple of the celebrated mathematician Sosigenes of Alexandria. He was tutor to the emperor Nero. He wrote commentaries on the Categories and the De Caelo of Aristotle. Attempts in the 19th century to ascribe some of the works of Alexander of Aphrodisias to Alexander of Aegae have been shown to be mistaken.

Dimitri Mitropoulos was a Greek conductor, pianist, and composer.
