Albert Helmut Weiler is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and since 2013 a member of the German Bundestag.

Dan van Husen was a German actor. He started his career in the 1960s, playing in a number of Spaghetti Westerns, and also performed in Italian and German films by renowned directors including Frederico Fellini and Werner Herzog and in German TV series. Starting in the 2000s he performed in Hollywood films, and in 2008 had a role in a Dutch World War 2 movie, Winter in Wartime. He died in 2020 of COVID-19.

Alexander Gazsi is a German ice dancer. With partner Nelli Zhiganshina, he is a six-time German national champion and has won twelve international medals. They have placed as high as 6th at the European Championships and 10th at the World Championships.

Allen John is a German professional golfer. He is profoundly deaf. He became a professional golfer in 2011 and played on the Challenge Tour in 2012. He was re-instated as an amateur in 2016. He represented Germany at the 2017 Summer Deaflympics when golf was included in the Summer Deaflympics for the first time and competed in the men's individual golf event securing a gold medal. Since 2018, John has returned to the professional ranks.

Horst Heese is a German former professional football player and manager. Heese had 149 Bundesliga appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt and HSV. After his retirement he managed Offenbach, Nürnberg and Frankfurt. After being sacked in 1993 in Frankfurt he moved back to Eupen in Belgium, where he still lives.
