Tappei Shimokawa
Tappei Shimokawa was a Japanese actor. He attended Musashino Art University, but withdrew before completing his degree. In 1939, he joined Bungakuza Theatre Company but left in 1952. He is well known for his roles in Taiyō ni Hoero! and Akira Kurosawa`s Dodes'ka-den.

Sunao Matsumoto, known professionally as Sunao Yoshida, was a Japanese novelist. He was born in Fukuoka Prefecture and graduated from La Salle junior/senior high school in Kagoshima. He attended Waseda University and earned a Master's degree from Kyoto University. Yoshida died of a lung blockage in 2004.

Tsutomu Tanaka was a Japanese professional baseball player. A right-handed pitcher, he played in Japan for the Nishitetsu Lions and the Chunichi Dragons. Tanaka was a top pitcher in Nippon Professional Baseball shortly before scandals derailed his career. A 23-game winner in 1966, he also is one of the few NPB pitchers to ever throw a perfect game.

Tsuyoshi Fukui is a retired tour and Japan Davis Cup team tennis player. Fukui holds the record for the most singles win for the Japanese in Davis Cup, with 26. On tour, he won two Challenger tennis events in singles and earned a career-high singles ranking of World No. 177, in January 1983.
