Joel Armia
Joel Armia is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward currently playing with the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He originally played professionally in his native Finland with Pori Ässät of the SM-liiga. He was selected 16th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres.

Anu Kristiina Nieminen is a Finnish badminton player. Born in Helsinki, Nieminen has joined the national team in 1994. She is one of the best badminton players in Finland, having won twelve times National Championships, and competed at the Summer Olympics in four consecutive times.

Paavo Arhinmäki
Paavo Erkki Arhinmäki is a Finnish politician, a member of the Finnish Parliament and a former Minister for Culture and Sport, representing the Left Alliance, a party who's leader he was from 2009 to 2016. He was first elected to the Finnish Parliament in the 2007 election and re-elected in 2011. Arhinmäki has been a member of the City Council of Helsinki since 2001. He led the Left Youth in 2001–2005. He proposed a halt to nuclear power projects in Finland in the wake of the Great Hanshin earthquake.
