Dorothy Hyman is a retired English sprinter. She competed at the 1960 and 1964 Summer Olympics in the 100 m, 200 m and 4 × 100 m events, winning three medals. She also won individual 100 m gold and 200 m silver at the 1962 European Championships in Belgrade and, representing England, completed the 100 yd/220 yd sprint double at the 1962 Commonwealth Games.

Barry Windsor-Smith is a British comic book illustrator and painter whose best known work has been produced in the United States. He attained note working on Marvel Comics' Conan the Barbarian from 1970 to 1973, and for his work on the character Wolverine, particularly the 1991 "Weapon X" story arc. His other noted Marvel work included a 1984 "Thing" story in Marvel Fanfare, illustrating Chris Claremont's "Lifedeath" and "Lifdeath II" stories that focused on the de-powered Storm in The Uncanny X-Men, as well as runs on Iron Man and Machine Man.

Shona McRory Robison is a Scottish politician who is the Scottish National Party Member of the Scottish Parliament for Dundee City East since 2011 and was Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport 2014–2018. Previously she had represented the SNP as an Additional Members System member for North East Scotland, having been elected in the 1999 election. She first became a member of the Cabinet in April 2014.
