Carlo Campogalliani was an Italian screenwriter, actor and film director. Campogalliani directed around eighty films during his career and acted in another fifty. He directed the 1934 sports film Stadio. He was married to the actress Letizia Quaranta who appeared in several of his films.

Mauro Malavasi is an Italian pianist, songwriter and producer. He was an important figure in Italian disco with his business partner Jacques Fred Petrus and went on to write and produce hits with various Italian musicians. He received a Pico Mirandola Award in his hometown in 2008. He created the R&B band Change, in the process discovering vocalists Luther Vandross and Jocelyn Brown, and had a million-selling single, "A Lover's Holiday". Later in his career he became co-writer and producer of Italian superstar singer Lucio Dalla.

Bernardino Spada was an Italian Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church and a patron of the arts whose collection is housed in the Palazzo Spada in Rome.

Riccardo Bacchelli was an Italian writer. In 1927 he was one of the founders of the review La Ronda and Bagutta Prize for literature. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature eight times.

Vicente de Gonzaga y Doria, was Viceroy of Valencia, 1663, Viceroy of Catalonia, 1664–1667 and Viceroy of Sicily, 1678, second of the 11 sons/daughters of Ferrante II Gonzaga, 1st Duke of Guastalla,, married in 1587 to Donna Vittoria Doria dei Principi di Melfi, (1569–1618), daughter of Genoese Admiral of the Spanish Fleet and Member of the Spanish Royal Council, Giovanni Andrea Doria, Prince of Melfi.
