Ferdia Walsh-Peelo is an Irish actor and musician. He is best known for playing Conor "Cosmo" Lawlor in his debut film Sing Street in 2016, and as King Alfred the Great in Vikings.

Eva Birthistle is an Irish actress and writer. She is best known for her role in Ae Fond Kiss... and since 2015 has starred in The Last Kingdom. She won the London Film Critics Circle British Actress of the Year Award in 2004, and has twice won the IFTA Best Actress in a Leading Role (Film) award.

Tina Reynolds or simply Tina as she was known professionally, represented Ireland in the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest. Her song "Cross Your Heart" came seventh but was a number 1 hit in the Irish charts. Prior to this Tina had hits in Ireland with "I Don't Know How to Love Him", number 1, 1971; "Tell Me Whats the Matter", number 15, 1972 and "When Morning Has Come", number 20, 1973. Tina almost represented Ireland at the Eurovision in 1973 as she was flown out to Luxembourg to replace singer Maxi who had refused to perform. Ultimately, Maxi was persuaded to perform on the night.

Christopher Juul-Jensen is a Danish racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Team BikeExchange.

Ronald Michael Delany, better known as Ron or Ronnie Delany, is an Irish former athlete, who specialised in middle-distance running. He won a gold medal in the 1500 metres event at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne. He later earned a bronze medal in the 1500 metres event at the 1958 European Athletics Championships in Stockholm.

Michael Woods is a former Irish Fianna Fáil politician who served as Government Chief Whip from July 1979 to December 1979, Minister for Social Welfare from 1979 to 1981, 1987 to 1991, March 1982 to December 1982 and 1993 to 1994, Minister for Health from 1979 to 1981, March 1982 to December 1982 and November 1994 to December 1994, Minister for Agriculture and Food from 1991 to 1992, Minister for the Marine from 1992 to 1993, Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources from 1997 to 2000 and Minister for Education and Science from 2000 to 2002. He served as a Teachta Dála (TD) from 1977 to 2011.
